Hi Karaline, thanks for stopping by my blog. It's so funny because the minute we drizzled those pops with the black we all agreed they looked like zebra print:) They will be darling for her party. We stuck a sucker~stick in a double stuffed oreo, and then dipped them in white almond bark. I think the almond bark is much easier to work with:) Then we added some black Wilton food coloring to the almond bark to drizzle. The only problem was it totally clumped up when we added the food coloring, so we had to thin it out again with milk, and then it didn't harden quite as well. If you could find black candy to melt down that would work better (maybe try Kitchen Kneads in Ogden). We put them in a clear cellophane wrapper, and tied them up with some black and white tulle and a thought. Then we stuck them all in black and white pots with white crinkle paper to cover the syrofoam. Holy cow! This is really sounding complicated~ check my blog tomorrow, and I will post a picture for ya;) Good luck!
Jake and I met our sophomore year at the lovely Clearfield High. Jake played football and I was on the dance team. The second I saw Jake I thought he was a hottie! We were just friends for a while, but the more we hung out the more we liked each other. He finally asked me to snowball (both of ours first date). We continued dating all through out high school and fell in love. We got married in the Bountiful Temple on August 2, 2007. Jake is working as an electrician for Utah Controls, and going to school at the DATC to get his journeyman degree. I am working for Davis School District as a cook. I am so grateful and blessed to be married to my bestfriend for time and all eternity!
